A well-organized, functional, and aesthetically pleasing work space can help provide the clarity needed to get it all done. That was exactly what our client wanted to achieve for their home office area.
With our designs, what was a very simple, storageless work area became a stunning built in home office with all the style and storage needed to inspire creativity and productivity.
The space is balanced with cabinets above and drawers below. The centered shelving offers the perfect place to display some decor and hold some books – and it looks lovely, too. We love how the blue-gray cabinets and the dark black pulls give it just the right moodiness. The leather chair is beautifully highlighted against the blue-gray cabinets. What once was just a counter-top placed in an alcove is now a beautiful built in desk that looks like it was there all along.
The cabinets up to the ceiling work seamlessly with the rooms pre-existing crown molding and ties in beautifully with our choice of vertical painted ship-lap as the backdrop. This gives the space a more classic built in feel like it was always meant to be there.
We are so happy with how it turned out! Warm, classic, and sophisticated.
